With the increasing demand and lesser cost of global positioning technology, it has now become part mostly of GPS technology and the auto navigation systems. During the early years, this technology was just used by secret agents and high-class families. But with its lesser cost, even the common Americans can have this technology and turn their lives even better. Among the many benefits proven to have contributed by this technology in one’s everyday living is assisting people with their 911 calls. This also tracks stolen and lost items. Even lost animals can find their way back home with this technology. But aside from these, there are still other reasons on how these technologies can improve your life and make it better.

These reasons are enumerated below:

1. Auto navigation and GPS technology will keep track of your teens and younger children through using services offered by some companies like uLocate Communications. Through this, you can easily track some of your family members and know there whereabouts through their cell phones. You just need to locate them via the Internet or use your own cell phone to do the tracking. You can do all of these and have peace of mind for a monthly subscription that can be as low as $4 per month.

2. This technology also helps you locate your elderly. If your mother or father is already suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other form of dementia, it is better you use this technology and keep yourself updated of their whereabouts. Instead of the portable cell phones, you can have ID bracelets for your moms and dads. Even when they forget where they are and the way back to your home, you can still know how to trace them.

3. Keep track of your pets. You can choose to have your beloved pets implanted with tracking devices like chips or you can simply put around their neck a special necklace that will surely allow you to locate your pets easily. You don’t need to spend long hours of worthless searching to any streets of your area and calling all the possible friends where your pet may have gone to. You will just simply locate your pets
through your cell phone or the Internet and the chips connected to them will tell you where to find them.

4. Auto navigation system and GPS technology are also helpful in providing you other shortcuts or alternate route in case you need to be in an important meeting or job interview as early as possible. With this, you can have options and choose not to be trapped in a traffic jam or road closure.

5. Avoid your cars being stolen or retrieve your stolen cars by the GPS technology. You can also utilize the On Star technology for your car. With these technologies, you can easily track your lost cars and even use the devices to call for any help in case of automobile emergencies. This technology is simply used with a push on a button. That will make your kids also capable of calling for help easily.

The advancement in technology is always helpful for a better living. This has been proven by the integration of auto navigation system and GPS technology in our daily living. Having these will surely make you feel more comfortable living everyday and more confident that all your important thing and important persons for your are always within your reach.

Networking is one of the most important skills you must learn in business. More money is made from your networks than any other marketing medium. To build your network you must learn key networking skills and become a Master Networker. Every Master Networker has ten key characteristics, if you do not have these ten key characteristics then you must adopt them immediately and live your life by them.

1. Always Be Positive Even In A Bad Situation

Regardless of how you feel, or the situation you are in you must always be positive. One of the sad things about this world is that nobody cares if you are down. Unfortunately it is a fact of life, so it is important that when you are networking you are at all times positive. Even if someone is stealing from you, you still must remain positive.

2. Always Be Sincere

The world seems to be made up of very rude people and it only seems to be getting worse, as more people adopt the rude characteristic. Being rude will never win you friends and will only alienate those around you. The Master Networker always has a key characteristic to always be sincere even in a difficult situation.

3. Be Prepared To Help Others

Always be prepared to help others regardless of who they are. If you remember that there are only 6 degrees of separation between each of us, you must be prepared to help others because you just never know who they know or you may be helping someone who will help you in the future.

4. Always Be Networking

Whenever you leave home, your mind should always be focused on networking. You just never know when a new opportunity might arise; it could be in the supermarket buying the weekly groceries or some one you sit next to on the plane on your way to your business meeting.

The Master Networker is always trying to build his own network and expand his Mastermind Group.

5. Work Your Network

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talks about building a Mastermind Group of Advisers. You network is apart of your Mastermind Group that will help you build the success you desire. Working your network involves, asking for referrals from your network, advice and also asking them to share their experiences.

6. Always Follow-up On Your Referrals

If someone suggests that you give someone a call or they give you an introduction ensure that you follow-up on your referrals. If someone has given you a referral, then they are handing you an opportunity and they are also putting their reputation on the line by giving you the referral. If you do not follow-up on that referral you may find that you lose out in the future.

7. Be Enthusiastic About Life

Business is a tough world and many people are easily downed by the pressures that it brings. One of the secrets of Master Networkers is that they are enthusiastic about life and further to that they love the challenges and excitement that business brings. Love life to the fullest and everyday you get up, find a reason to keep going on.

Think and Grow Rich teaches us that we must have a clear desire on what we want in life to succeed. At the very least, you should be enthusiastic every single day to be going after your desire and the fact that you are one step closer to achieving it.

8. Always Keep Your Word

One of the great sayings I have heard many business leaders, including Donald Trump say is, “It is not personal, it is just business”. Many people believe that that saying gives you the right to do anything that you want to another person all in the name of business. This is further from the truth. If you say you are going to do something then you must keep your word. Some of the great deals on this planet are done without contracts because the people doing the deals are known to keep their word.

9. Be 100% Trustworthy

Trust is an important characteristic of a Master Networker. If your network cannot trust you then they are not going to introduce you to quality referrals or to allow you to join their Mastermind Group.

10. Always Thank People

The sweetest thing to hear is a Thank you from a grateful person and in business today it is one of the things you very rarely hear people say. Thanking people can come in a number of forms, from a simple verbal thank you to sending a simple note to thank the person. For example if you meet some one at a Local Chamber of Commerce Meeting, then as a Master Networker it is important that you send a note to thank them for their time at the meeting

Networking is a major skill you must master if you want to achieve the ultimate success that Napoleon Hill talks about in his book Think and Grow Rich. The characteristics outlined in this article are mandatory for you to learn and live your life by. You cannot only adopt 1 or 2 of the characteristics to be successful, you must adopt immediately all ten characteristics.

To finish off, I want to take a moment to list the Top 10 Characteristics all Master Networkers must have:

1. Always Be Positive Even In A Bad Situation

2. Always Be Sincere

3. Be Prepared To Help Others

4. Always Be Networking

5. Work Your Network

6. Always Follow-up On Your Referrals

7. Be Enthusiastic About Life

8. Always Keep Your Word

9. Be 100% Trustworthy

10. Always Thank People

Perhaps you have seen the many advertisements online that claim to give you free ringtones. Although most of these companies are using this format of advertisement in order to entice you to come to their web site to purchase some of their ringtone packages, some of them actually provide a way for you to find and download a free ringtone. So for those of you who have ever wondered how to download ringtones for free, here are a few tips and tricks that you can easily follow in order to get those free ringtones.

Many phone services are offering promotions with free ringtones. While many ringtones are available for download on the Internet for free or for a small charge, you can also create your own from digital media. This is actually the secret to how you can get a free ringtone or multiple free ringtones at any time without having to worry about certain companies attaching themselves to your monthly cell phone bill.

Another possibility is that you can download free ringtones to your cellular phone by making use of the Ring Tone Text Transfer Language (RTTTL), a common language on the net to describe ringtones in a prescribed and acceptable format. When it is activated, you can easily receive ringtones for free and you can even download them through the Internet. Be aware that some cell phone ringtones may not be for free just because they are just easy to get.

You can also compose your own monophonic ringtones using certain paid or free software. Whether you like pop, rock, reggae, or even classical music, the sky is the limit. You are only limited by your imagination while creating your very own monophonic ringtones.

As you can see, most of the methods for getting free ringtones takes a little bit of effort. Yes, you can subscribe to many services and then stop your subscription just to get a ringtone for free, but this can be more of a hassle than it is worth. Just use your good judgment when downloading a free ringtone, or simply make your own with many of the free ringtone creating software online. It is not really a question of how to download ringtones for free, but how inventive and creative you can be in order to get the ringtone’s that you have always wanted.

Ringtones are musical sounds that a mobile phone or cell phone plays when an incoming call or text message is received to the handset. Because the popularity and technology advantage of mobile phones over basic landline telephones, ringtones can be downloaded to a handset and used to personalize a callers ringing tone. The fact that users can choose what ringtone there mobile phone rings too, is the biggest selling point and the main purpose of ringtones popularity.

There are various different formats of ringtone, and each format of ringtone is more suited to a range of different manufacturers and models of mobile phone. Many people who purchase a mobile phone think that they can receive any type of ringtone; this is not the case in many situations.

At the moment, there are currently 5 different formats of ringtone available:

RTTTL, which is short for Ring Tones Text Transfer Language, is a simple text based format that you can use to make/create ringtones that can be uploaded or transferred onto your mobile phone via various mobile phone uploading techniques e.g. Infrared, SMS, and Bluetooth.

Monophonic ringtones are very basic ringtones, most commonly found on older mobile phones such as the Nokia 3210. Monophonic ringtones are only capable of making one sound at a time; hence monophonic. Each tone or sound is created at a different frequency creating a melodic, but simple sound. RTTTL is the basis behind monophonic ringtones.

Polyphonic Ringtones are compatible on mobile phones that can produce the playing of up to 16 separate tones simultaneously. Polyphonic ringtones are slightly more musical than monophonic ringtones, but there is still no real comparison to a real life song. Most modern mobile phones support polyphonic ringtones.

MP3 ringtones also know as real tones, real music tones and true tones are ringtones that are complete emulations of CD quality music. As the name suggest, MP3 ringtones are just MP3 music files that are assigned as ringtones. This allows the user to have perfectly quality sounds coming from there mobile phone, which for the first time has allowed mobile phones to produce real life sounds such as signing and voices. Many people now download full track albums to there mobile phone and simply use the files for recreation, such as using the mobile phone as an MP3 Player, then assign the MP3 file as a ringtone. This has seen a big surge in ringtone sales as it allows consumers to kill two birds with one stone.

With today’s technology increasing and the market for mobile phone content rapidly expanding, we have seen the creation of video ringtones. Video ringtones are simply small video clips with a MP3 file assigned to play in the background, so when you receive an incoming call to your mobile phone, the video and ringtone is played. Although video ringtones have been around for a while now, they have never really become main stream and could be a new market for many mobile ringtone websites.

A long long time ago, there were the monophonic ringtones who ruled the market under their big leader the nokia tune. Later on the polyphonic ringtones came and beat them. But now the time has come for the realtones…

First let me explain what realtones exactly are. Technically they’re mp3 songs or songs in another format. The difference between realtones and polyphonic ringtones is the fact that polyphonic ringtones are .midi files and realtones are .mp3 or another music format. Midi files are only capable of creating beeps like the polyphonic and monophonic ringtones do. Mp3 files are compressed songs. So you actually hear the real song of the radio but only a shorter version.

There are different sorts of realtones available. The first realtones were actually called truetones, those truetones are realtones with a weird sound. There are truetones of a fart or farm sounds. But you also have truetones of celebrities having a talk with you. Something like: hey you pick up the phone.

Also you have nametones. Those nametones are songs that have a name in it. There are a lot of nametones available and a nametone with your name in it would probably exist. It sounds weird, a realtone with your name in it. But someone is actually singing with your name, something like: Peter, you’re telephone rings pick it up before it’s too late.

But the biggest hit will probably be the real realtones. The realtones with your favorite song. But it might take a while before it hits big because a lot of people haven’t bought a phone that supports realtones yet. But a lot of mobile phones that are for sale now do support realtones and are not that expensive anymore.

Realtones are quite expensive in comparison with polyphonic ringtones. But people are willing to pay for it. The reason why they’re that expensive is because of the record companies. They charge about $1,50 dollars per sold realtone. And then the selling company has only the rights to sell them, the realtone isn’t even created yet.

In spite of the costs and the fact that not all the phones support them, the realtones are already very popular. And will probably become the leading product for the mobile phone soon.

On coolerealtones.com are thousands of realtones and nametones. They also have truetones and irritones. And offcourse… the good old monophonic and polyphonic ringtones.

The immune system is the body’s defence mechanism to handle viruses. Laughter and
fun have been held for a long time to be the best medicine. Science has now found that
every cell in the body has a receptor for the substances produced when we are laughing
and having fun. Thus our first line of defence against viruses is laughter and fun.

The correct use of laughter and fun in the workplace facilitates learning, and changes
people’s behaviour as it helps them feel less threatened by the prospect of change.
Laughter and fun have been found to be the best tools for giving the corporate identity a
human face. Laughter and fun have been recognised for centuries to be the best medicine.
When people are having fun and laughter, work is no longer a chore or something to get
over quickly. They will gladly take on extra work as it gives them joy.

People like doing business with people who are fun. Look at Disney World, the fun place
for kids and many adults who want to be kids. It attracted millions of visitors. Many of
them have patronised the place several times. Another example is MacDonald’s. Its
philosophy is that going to MacDonald’s is fun. The MacDonald’s clown is the comic
icon representing fun and laughter, the kind of place where you go to enjoy yourself.
Also a fun working environment is more productive than a routine one. People who enjoy
their work will come up with more and better ideas. Fun is contagious.

In excellent companies, employees seem to enjoy themselves. If fun is the meta-value in
an organization, the distinction between work and play disappears. Excellent companies
acutely aware of the link between fun and creativity encourage the playful potential of
their people. The leaders recognize that if people have fun, they not only work harder,
but have more creativity, which is the ingredient for global competitiveness. In bad times,
when the company can afford little, the key is how to take out the frills and yet keep the
thrills. Corporate turnaround experts know how to use humour and laughter to facilitate change management.

In organizations that fail to recognize fun as a value, work is merely a chore. The staff
behave just mechanically, going to work everyday listlessly, whiling away the time and
waiting to be released at the end of the day so that they can have fun outside organization.
Richard Branson is a prime example of turning work into an exciting adventure. Branson
said of Virgin, “We have done things differently, and that has made life more fun and
enjoyable than if we have taken a slightly more conservative approach. I have been
determined to have a good time.”

Therefore, to have a really happy workforce, you got to do more than pass out bonuses
and angpows. You need to make work fun. Science opens to us the book of nature, while
laughter and fun open the doors to human creativity.

1. Think like a prospect–remember this may be the first time that they have undertaken a business such as this. Assume they know nothing and start with the basics. Make them feel very comfortable and be patient as you teach them the skills they need to be successful. A confused prospect will not join your business.

2. Assume that they have limited knowledge– and more than likely have been exposed to the opinions of well meaning people but have very little factual knowledge of what a Network Marketing business entails. Even if they were involved years ago, things change. MLM is constantly evolving. The everyday language that you use in MLM is foreign to most people. Simplify it so that even a 12 yr old could understand it.

3. Find out what their goals are first–They have to be sold on their own success and committed to changing their fortune before you can have a prosperous partner.

4. Truth and honesty–Can you promote your business without making outrageous claims, if not, why? How do you feel when someone approaches you with hype and exaggeration? See things from your prospects eyes and honor them with the truth. Your business’s strongest foundation is built on your relationship with your business partners.

5. Keep in mind what you are selling–You are selling them on the idea that your business can help them achieve their goals and that you will help them. You are part of a group of people who have been drawn together because of the power of many. Yes, you have various interests and reasons for being in business but your strength is in the numbers and the support of the team.

6. Be a friend–People do business with those that they know, like and trust. This may happen very quickly or it may take time, however, be there as a support to people and you will be rewarded for your efforts. To be a better team member enroll in self-development programs. You are where you are because of what has happened in your past. To have a brighter, better future you need to work on who you so you can realize more of your potential.

7. You get what you present– Promoting a get rich quick business equals people who are in and out at the drop of a hat. Network Marketing is a 2 to 5 yr process of personal and financial development. Letting people know this allows them to be prepared for the time it will take.

8. Know your competition– what do other companies offer? What are their advantages and disadvantages? What are the advantages and disadvantages of your business?

9. The fortune is in the follow through– Keep in touch with people, if you get a “no” it may be “no” for now, not forever. There are people who join businesses months and years later. Keep a good list of people that you have talked with or shown the business too. Keep track of their special events, birthdays, children, and anniversaries. To be more in their lives, do more; be above average. The rewards are far greater than just financial.

10. Have a plan–How do you plan to become successful? Do you have your goals written down? Is there someone on your team who is where you want to be in life that can assist you? Remember your business success is your responsibility.

As a final note you are where you are in your business because of what you have done. Avoid the blame game. If you are with a great company but the help is not there, find the resources necessary for you to succeed and go and help others.

Can you fail your way to success in Network Marketing and is that mantra outdated? Network Marketing is evolving and changing. If you really want to succeed in Network Marketing it’s time to educate yourself on the best methods. Great students can become great teachers. Be a great teacher and everyone wins.

The iPhone’s functions include those of a camera phone and a portable media player (“iPod”), in addition to text messaging and visual voicemail. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. User input is accomplished via a multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons.

Apple has done it again. The iPhone is from the Apple creator. What is a iPhone? It is a hot new revolutionary mobile phone that has a widescreen iPod which is just awesome. I am in love. The iPhone has many touch controls with a breakthrough communication Internet device. A iphone is one that has the best desktop email, maps, searching and web browsing and is very lightweight. With this handheld device, you can control everything so easy just with the touch of your fingers.

The widescreen ipod on your iPhone will let you enjoy all kinds of amazing content, videos, TV shows, music, audiobooks and movies. The widescreen display is about 3.5 inches. This new mobile iPhone allows you to make a call just by pointing your finger at a name or a number from your address book. You can listen to your voice mail messages in any order you want just like you would do email. How awesome is that. You can construct your own favorite list for the numbers that you mostly call.

The iPhone has the most advanced web browser which can automatically take your bookmarks from your PC or MAC and place your favorite bookmarks on your iPhone. You also have a google and yahoo search. You can read all the webpages you want on your iPhone. You can zoom in on your webpages just by tapping the display button with your finger. Wow!!

You also have a multi-touch interface just like a mouse that lets you glide through your CDs, you can flip through photos and you can email these photos right away if you want to. You can also easily send sms messages from a keyboard that easily corrects your mistakes.

The iPhone has the FCC’s approval and has been given the green light. Apple is still taken the world by storm. What a combination. A cell phone with a iPod. Cingular(Now AT&T Inc) has the exclusive contract to distribute the iPhone. Apple, you have another winner on your hands. A iPhone is an incredible device that is going to do extremely well in the marketplace. Any of you got Apple stock??

iPhone Tips and Tricks – Get the Most Out of Your iPhone Experience

All of us folks who are lucky enough to already have an iPhone know how much fun they can be just to play around with. Playing with my iPhone a lot myself, I have discovered some cool tips and tricks that you may find useful.

1. If you tap once at the very top of the screen when you are on the internet, it will take you back to the top of the window rather than having to scroll all the way back up. A nice time saving feature.

2. If you set the font to the smallest size, you can read more in the internet window. An advantage of this is that when you want to click a link, you can pinch (expand) that area and the link will come up very large, making it much easier to click.

3. Rather than posting the full address of internet sites in bookmarks, you can post the equivalent RSS address instead into Apple’s RSS reader and save that as your bookmark. This way you can quickly see if there’s anything interesting on your favorite site rather than downloading the whole homepage.

4. If you are writing something and the iPhone flags a word as misspelled that you know is not misspelled, cancel the correction 3 times and the word will be put into the dictionary. If you write a lot, this feature is quite useful!

5. The magnifying glass is a nice iPhone tool when you are typing an email or any other text. If you tap once and hold, a magnifying glass will pop up showing you a zoomed in view of your words and cursor. You can now easily place the cursor wherever you want. This makes editing your writing very easy.

6. You can move icons around, but not on the home screen. You have to go to the ipod section. Go to iPod > More > Edit. Now you can drag your icons all around. This can also be done in the phone section.

7. To reset your iphone, hold down the right button and the “home” front button for about 6 seconds. To power it back on, push the top button. This is different than a regular shutdown, which can be done easily by holding the sleep/wake button for 6 seconds.

8. If you get a lot of spam e-mail or other unwanted e-mail, pay attention to this time saving feature. Add a link to Yahoo mail in Safari bookmarks. From there you can check ‘delete all’ to remove all unwanted e-mails. This is much easier than deleting hundreds of spam e-mails one at a time.
