The first step to getting a diagnosis is detection. Monitoring your own breast tissue contains 3 main components including a) Breast Self-examination b) Clinical Breast Exam and c) Mammography.

A woman may notice abnormalities while doing a self-exam. By examining your breasts every month, you will become familiar and be able to detect changes better.
The following are the steps to perform breast self-examination.

a) Breast Self-Examination

1)	Put your hands on hip while standing in front of a mirror to visually examine your breasts. Then stand with your hands behind your head with fingers interwoven and look for changes in size, lumps, shape, contour, color, dimples or inverted nipples.

2)	Press each nipple to see if there is a discharge.

3)	Lie down putting a pillow under your left shoulder. Place your left hand under your head while lying down. Using your right hand, fingers flattened together into a pad form and press on the top portion of the left breast in a circular motion to examine the outer, then the inner circle of the breast including nipple. Use light pressure for area under skin’s surface. Then add a little more pressure to feel halfway into the flesh. Finally, use deep pressure to feel down the ribs. Examine the breast and chest area under your armpit. With the same way, repeat on the right side using your left hand.

With the above self-examination method, you should be able to feel any unusual lump or thickening tissues or skin.

b) Clinical breast Exam

This is conducted during your annual gynecological examination. Your doctor will place pressure on your breasts in circular motion the pads of his or her fingers. You will have one hand tucked under your head while the other breast is being examined.

c) Mammography

Mammography is able to detect any cancerous growth before it can be felt by a manual

exam. It is an X-ray image of the breast. A screening mammogram is done when a clinical breast exam is normal. It consists of two views of each breast including:

a) An up and down view and

b) Side to side view.

A diagnostic mammogram is performed to evaluate any abnormality found during a breast exam. Mammograms may sometimes cause discomfort because the breasts must be compressed until the skin is taut. Mammograms can detect breast calcifications made of minute amounts of calcium that cannot be detected by self or clinical exams. Generally, a radiologist can make a prediction on the likelihood of a lesion is malignant based on a screening mammograms. For women who already have symptoms suggestion of breast cancer (e.g. a palpable lump), diagnostic mammographics is necessary as they include additional views to give a more accurate prediction as to the likelihood of cancer.

So is there a feminine intuition?

Yes, there absolutely is. It’s in what I call their ‘natural character’. It’s a biological and adaptive trait.

I didn’t really believe in it for such a long time and I was kind of jealous that they had it and men ‘didn’t’. I’ll talk about the irony in that a bit later.

Female intuition..

Females are essentially born with it as a physiological trait; the ability to respond to and mate with the most desirable survivor male and to pick up those characteristics in men.

Their intuition is exacting and often leads to the truth itself.

Women are looking for characteristics in a man. To have the greatest success with women, just be closest to all female expectational response in the first place and REMAIN there in relation to her (in front of her) while not giving up your power.

She is the one that has to be attracted to you so that is why she is quite selective. That’s what matters or the relationship isn’t going anywhere.

Since intuition is in a way a ‘judgment’, it is based on sample data and in the early stages of any relationship, that data must be extrapolated or used to define a better ‘picture’ of what that man is really like and what value he brings to her down the road.

Women can make judgments very quickly. Men can make judgments even faster than women in many cases, often knowing within a millisecond whether they would sleep with a woman or not.

Men want to sow their seed, so when they see ‘hotness’ they’re ready and could approve of the deed.

Women take a little more time in most cases to get a better read out of a man to confirm their initial judgment.

There is nothing wrong with this.

Everyone judges everyone essentially anyways.

What you want to do as a man is to raise a woman’s F.A.R. or ‘female attraction response’ to you across the 3 characteristics that matter.

You want her interested in you in the natural, inner (personality), and social character response areas. I don’t have time here to go into it in detail but it can essentially be measured and mapped.

Each woman carries with her a general ‘expectational ideal’ that they have in a man. It’s socio-LOGICAL in the personality and social character traits.

So when they see or meet a man they will judge him off of his character traits. Yes, this means that he is always communicating even when he thinks he isn’t.

They will primarily look for a strong ‘natural’ character aka, ’strong body language’, ‘comfortable in his own skin’, ‘confidence’, ‘presence’ and ‘personal authority’.

Using their intuition, women will be able to take (often predictable) a certain behavior or action to further continue their relationship to something substantial (b/c there already WAS a relationship) or will take actions to avoid him or prevent a relationship from happening.

Often when women ‘turn a guy down’, it’s a response based off of their current judgment of him and though it may be inaccurate and unfair, she may not have enough time to get involved in a new relationship at that time so don’t ever take it personal.

Besides, how can they ‘judge’ your ‘inner character’ when they don’t even know you yet?

They’re just making fast, crude judgments based off of a man’s natural and social character at first..that’s it.

So when they notice ‘alpha’ traits such as one good-looking guy is comfortable and making jokes as the lead of his group, they take note (or they should be!).

I could talk more and more about this process but yes it DOES exist and women are judging you all of the time, so you might as well give them the true character traits that they’re looking for so that it will be easier to start all kinds of new relationships with their attraction and interest.

Now, do men have intuition? This is a whole different subject but for now I’ll say that yes, Alpha men actually do. Growing up in the social matrix myself I had to develop and cultivate this ability because it was only repressed but let me say this;

I’m more balanced, powerful, intuitive and emotional than ever before because I have developed incredibly sharp intuition. I can sense energy, I can quite often predict where someone is from, I can tell who has relational authority, who is attracted, who is sending signals, etc.

When I see pure Alpha natural women and sense their energy often within a second I will be shocked and my jaw will drop. This is what women are going through when they sense the natural character of a man.

Cultivate it. It’s there.

Study Alpha R.D. and I’ll teach you how to develop intuition yourself as a man. It’s the perfect (and unexpected) surprise and treat in your life because everything is a LOT more interesting with it.

It’s like having the best of both worlds!

Menopause signifies the cessation of both menstruation and a woman?s reproductive capacity. Most symptoms accompanying menopause are a direct result of falling estrogen levels as the ovaries progressively shut down production. Eggs mature less regularly, and progesterone levels decrease. As a result, periods become more erratic and eventually cease.

Some 75% of women in the 45?55 year age group experience mild to severe menopausal symptoms including hot flushes, difficult periods, lethargy, insomnia, palpitations, headaches, deteriorating memory, osteoporosis, and thinning of the hair and skin. Psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, and irritability are also common. Lowered estrogen levels also contribute to symptoms such as vaginal dryness and reduced libido.

Alternative health practitioners attribute menopausal symptoms to falling hormone levels, failing adrenal glands, a poor diet, lack of exercise and the inability to deal with stress.
The treatment of menopausal symptoms is consequently aimed at both the hormonal/physical and mental/emotional level.

three powerful ingredients – Fennel, Pulsatilla and Melissa -have been used effectively to treat the most troublesome symptoms of PMS.

Vitamin C can help regulate heavy bleeding (particularly when combined with bioflavinoids), as does Vitamin A, zinc, iron, Vitamin B-complex and goldenseal.

A calcium-rich diet and adequate access to sunlight (for Vitamin D production) help to minimize the likelihood of osteoporosis.

Ostivone, a non-hormonal nutrient, has been shown in clinical trials to be able to increase bone mineral density and inhibit bone loss, thus combating osteoporosis.

Selenium may help to alleviate hot flushes and night sweats.

Linseed oil, evening primrose, Vitamin B-complex, and zinc are all excellent for improving skin tone, elasticity, and moisture.

Magnesium and Vitamin B supplementation has been found to improve emotional symptoms such as anxiety and irritability. Magnesium is also useful in the treatment of insomnia, as is valerian.

Lumpy, painful breasts respond well to Vitamin E, linseed oil, acidophilus, milk thistle, and Vitamin B-complex.

Co-enzyme Q10 and ginseng help boost energy levels and dispel lethargy.

Quercetin can assist in the alleviation of headaches and migraines, as can Vitamins C and E, and the herb skullcap.

Oats (as porridge or herbal preparation) tone the nervous system, and sage taken as a tea or in tablet form will stimulate estrogen levels and improve memory function. Valerian and ginseng will help with anxiety and tension which, combined with skullcap, will calm the nervous system.

One herb that has been used traditionally for its female hormone balancing properties is Vitex Agnes Castus. Recent scientific research had confirmed that the Vitex berry contains an aromatic oil that regulates hormone levels via its effect upon the pituitary gland. Taken during menopause, Vitex Agnes Castus has been found to reduce the incidence of hot flushes, limit fluid retention, prevent excess weight gain, and to alleviate the nervousness/anxiety/depression cycle so symptomatic of the cessation of the female menstrual cycle.

Motherwort is useful for palpitations which are commonly experienced due to falling estrogen levels.

Black Cohosh is also useful for regulating female hormones and helps to prevent night sweats and hot flushes. Other useful herbal remedies for these symptoms are licorice, alfalfa, and Dong Quai.

Gingko biloba can help with memory and concentration problems.

Natural progesterone cream has been found in clinical trials to be effective against both physical and emotional problems associated with menopause. Extensive research by Dr. John Lee and others have found that using natural progesterone cream assists in recreating the natural estrogen/progesterone balance, thus eliminating many of the common menopausal symptoms such as osteoporosis, depression, tension, insomnia, hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and increased facial hair.

Maca has been shown by both traditional usage and modern science to be able to restore health to hormonal systems that are out of balance. Increasing numbers of Western doctors are now offering maca as a treatment option to their menopausal patients.

Menopausal symptoms are believed to be common in the Western world due to dietary habits. Japanese women, in particular, experience few menopausal symptoms due to a diet rich in phytoestrogens obtained from plant sources, such as tofu, soy, and miso.

Clearly, menopause is a time of change for every woman, but those changes need not be detrimental. With careful diet, regular exercise, and the appropriate nutritional supplements, menopause can be both a pleasant and joyful experience for all women.

Women hate to ask for what they want. Women are expected to be independent and selfless. This training process begins at a very early age in a woman’s life. The woman that you love most likely has been groomed to live without her needs being met. She has surrendered herself to the “reality” that Prince Charming will never appear. The men in her world have denied her needs. She has also learned to deny her needs. However, she secretly longs for the day all of this will change. She dreams her Prince will appear and answer the yearnings of her heart. As her man, you must step up to her call and respond to these longings of her heart.

Her distaste for asking for what she needs is heard in statements like, “If you really loved me you would know what I need.” A similar announcement is “We’ve been together long enough you should just know what I need.” Your partner does not know what you need unless you tell them. The typical response to this is, “If I tell you what I need then you’ll feel like you have to meet my needs. I don’t want you meeting my needs if you feel like you have to.” How can you ever win with an approach like this? You can’t. The discouragement leads to all kinds of problems and the relationship will lose any semblance of greatness.

If you don’t ask for what you need your needs are left up to chance. Even a great partner will fail without clarification of your needs.

You must tell him specifically what your needs are. The more specific, the more accurate his fulfilling of that need will be.

Sometimes, (most times) you will have to tell him more than once. It is a set-up for disaster if you think telling him one time will do it. Be patient and understanding. I remember when my wife and I started dating. We had major arguments over sneezing. That’s right, sneezing. My wife was raised in a household where if someone sneezes you are supposed to say, “Bless you” or “God bless you.” I do not recall being taught this. So, early on in our relationship, when she would sneeze I would keep going on with whatever I was doing. Some time later, I would notice that she was sad.

I would ask, “What’s wrong?”

“You don’t love me!” was her response.

“What do you mean?” I would ask.

“You didn’t bless me when I sneezed.” She would assert.

“That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.” I would retort.

And it would go down hill from there.

This happened about 10 times before I actually understood this particular need. She blesses someone who sneezes out of caring and thoughtfulness. Now I will bless anyone who sneezes within my earshot. I just never knew about the whole, “Bless you” thing. It took me a while to get it but now I’ve got it.

Most women (and a lot of men) have such a challenge with asking for what they need that they fall into a trap of fussing about what they are not getting.
“You never take me anywhere.” “You never tell me that you love me.” “You are never home”. “You don’t pursue me like you did when we were dating”. “You don’t tell me I’m beautiful”.

The veiled requests sound like a never-ending complaint. Your partner feels that he will never be able to satisfy you. He will give it his best shot. Over time, he comes to believe that he will never effectively meet your needs and he gives up. Now you feel justified in your approach because “obviously” he did not really want to meet your needs anyway.

Natural ways to relieve migraines that really work are important.

Over twenty five million Americans, mostly women, suffer from migraines. But there are natural ways to relieve migraines that can give both immediate and long-term permanent relief.

What are your other choices? Besides puking, after taking controversial painkillers, you can draw the blinds, turn out the lights and crawl into bed. And that’s about it.

Anyone who suffers from migraines knows what I’m talking about.

Everyone who deals with migraines on a regular basis has had to develop their own coping mechanisms. But, for those who want more natural ways to relieve migraines, then here are some simple suggestions for fast, easy relief.

Though nobody knows for sure, most migraines seem to be caused by glandular imbalances, stress or tension, various foods like chocolate, alcohol and caffeine, food colorings and additives like MSG and various medications like birth control pills.

Isolating and removing the triggers from your life will go a long way towards preventing future migraines.

The next thing you can do for yourself to prevent migraines is to improve your diet. I know this sounds like a broken record – I say it all the time – but nothing, and I mean nothing, can replace a good, natural whole food diet.

I’m talking about the food we would have been eating if modern food production and processing hadn’t messed things up.

A whole food diet includes whole wheat, brown rice, and natural soy. Don’t be fooled by white rice, enriched wheat, and GMO soy. They offer NO nutrition and do more harm than good.

Colorful fruits and vegetables – eating optimally between 5 and 13 servings daily – are also part of a healthy whole food diet.

This doesn’t include things like fruit juices or fruit roll-ups, which are all sugar, or iceberg lettuce, potatoes, bananas or apples. Though they’re good for other things, they contain little to no beneficial phytonutrients like carotenoids, flavonoids or cruciferous compounds.

Rounding out a good whole food diet includes low fat dairy products, eggs and lean meats, preferably chicken and fish, but especially fish.

Oily cold water fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines and anchovies are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which have been proven to help decrease the pain and frequency of migraine headaches, no matter what the cause.

And finally, adding a high quality, pure fish oil supplement to the diet always makes a HUGE difference with anybody’s migraine problem.

Studies show that omega 3 fish oil has amazing natural anti-inflammatory properties. And taking fish oil supplements on a regular basis works wonders for cutting down and eliminating headaches.

Buying a bonded diamond is possibly the best diamond you can buy as it has a number of guarantees which normal diamonds and normal diamond jewelers do not give. It safeguards you money and your diamond and ensures that you are getting a quality diamond.

All bonded diamonds have the following guarantee.

Breakage policy. If the stone gets broken or chipped then the jeweler will replace it with another. This ensures that the diamond is not “treated” as treated stones have a tendency to break or crack and the jeweler is not going to chance that occurring.

There is a lifetime buy-back policy. At anytime you can sell the diamond back to the jeweler for all of your money back, this is 100 percent. It does not include any sales tax, other tax, mountings etc.

You can exchange the diamond at any time. There is also a lifetime exchange policy so if you feel the diamond cut is not in fashion anymore you can simply replace it.

There is a trade in policy for the life of the diamond also. This means that it has a fixed appreciation rate and will keep up with inflation. (A good quality diamond will actually appreciate in value about 5 percent a year)

All bonded diamonds have a market crash protection policy also. In the event (very unlikely since it is so strictly controlled) that there is a crash in the market and the diamond depreciates, the jeweler will refund the difference between what you paid for the diamond and the new value if it is less.

Importantly all bonded diamonds have a guarantee that they are natural diamonds and have not been treated in anyway.

Bonded diamonds tend to cost more of course, Nothing in life is free. But here you truly get what you pay for and having a bonded diamond is a firm guarantee in itself that you have one of the best protected diamonds in the world. Of course you will still need to insure it for the normal unforeseen events, theft, fire etc.

You can buy bonded diamonds from bonded jewelers but of all the jewelers, only about 5 percent are bonded and licensed to sell bonded diamonds, so you will need to seek them out.

Of course you can specifically ask a jeweler if he is a bonded jeweler. Some may skirt around and not give you a definite answer (which means no of course) but most will simply say no. Going to the more expensive area of the city or town may net you a bonded jeweler. Better to seek out the Gemological association and ask them.

If you are interested in having a diamond that is assured to be natural, of high quality and carried guarantees for a lifetime then buying a bonded diamond is the way to go.

It is my job to advertise jewelry, when you buy my jewelry it is then the jewelries task to advertise you, or to bring out the best in your face and contribute to your overall appearance. This is a guide for those of us who love to buy jewelry. We are very fortunate these days to be able to buy gorgeous jewelry of good quality that does not break the budget and is not so expensive that we are afraid of wearing and enjoying it. So let’s make this jewelry work for you.

First – go through the jewelry that you already have. (Chances are that it is in a box in one tangled mess.) Lay each piece out on a soft cloth and inspect them. If they have silver or gold coatings over a base metal (i.e. not over a precious metal like 925 sterling silver) they will not keep their luster for very long. These are fine for a few special occasions but then they need to leave your jewelry box. Good only for youngsters to play dress-ups with. What you keep may need cleaning according to its metal or gem content.

Earrings – Are your most important jewelry item. They give that extra compliment to your complexion that no other piece of jewelry can give. The right earrings can make the difference between dreary and sensational.

In front of a mirror put on one earring. Look at your self from the side without an earring and then turn to the earring side. If the earring does not give your face that extra sparkle and light, put it out of your box into the kids dress-up box or have a lucky dip at your next party. They may look nice in the box but if they don’t do that ‘extra something’ for you, you don’t need them. Repeat this procedure with all of your earrings.

Your earrings need to work for you and earn their keep. You do not want people to look at you and say ‘beautiful earrings’. The earrings are to compliment you. We want someone to look at you and say ‘you look fantastic’ then they notice your complimentary jewelry, not the other way around.

Now put your jewelry into groups. This will depend on your life style and employment type. Roughly it will be casual, work and evening wear. I find the best way to store jewelry for easy access and to prevent them from scratching each other is in small clear plastic zip lock bags. When buying jewelry keep these groups in mind and buy specifically for your needs.

If you have done the above mirror test and have been honest with yourself you should now have a very good idea about what factors give your face that ‘extra’ sparkle. This will now make it easy to buy your earrings and other fine and fashion jewelry online where the price/quality ratio should be much better than you can buy elsewhere. I keep buying jewelry for myself and family. It is great for gifts. Jewelry is the feel good gift for any occasion.

Many guys seem to think that the further out you ask a woman out the greater the likelihood of her saying yes.

Of course from a logical point of view this makes sense, seeing as if she is busy odds are today will be the busiest, with next week and beyond being the least busy.

Yet, the reality is not too many women are the type to honor commitments on a first come first serve basis.

If that wasn’t bad enough the further out you go to setup a time to go out the more likely she is to think less of you, which then increases the likelihood of her not going out with you, even if she accepted first.

For instance, let’s say that a woman gives her phone number to two guys that she equally likes.

The first guy (you) calls her up on Tuesday and sets up a dinner date on Sunday. She accepts and goes on about her week.

Now, Sunday comes and the second guy (future you) calls her up and asks if she wants to hang out while he does his laundry. Not only will she accept but she might not even call to cancel her plans with you or if she does it will be at the last minute, all because future you created more value in himself by doing a whole lot less and right now instead of a whole lot more and later like you decided to do.

What the future you already knows’ is that your best chance of meeting a woman is right now when you are talking to her.

Not only does it show you value yourself by taking advantage of the opportunities you have right in front of you it tells her that you think you are better than anything else she has going on for her which could be anything.

As you read this the only question becomes if you are now the future you or if the future you will be here after you finish reading this right now.

……I realised that I really created my own obstacles in life, and if I just got out of the way of myself and let my mind not hold me back, I could do things I never thought I could.”
(Hilary Swank, as reported in the Sunday Times)

Hilary Swank puts her breathtaking performance in Million Dollar Baby down to the way Clint Eastwood was able to get her to relax and stop her interfering with her natural ability to create such an awesome character.

What about you? How do you interfere with your natural ability. How do you stop yourself from progressing? What do you say to yourself that ensures you stay within a safe arena? In Hilary Swank’s words what is your “obstacle” to success in your life.

For most of us our obstacle is the same as Hilary Swank’s. It is our mind. The way we were raised. The area we lived in. The schools we went to. The education we received or not as the case may be. The first jobs we had. The people we idolised in our youth and in later life. All give us a way of being.

Think for a moment. What do you now do that can be traced back to your past. Have you ever said anything and a sibling or member of your family immediately responded “You sound just like……….”? If you have then you have just met an “obstacle” That thought was not a new thought. It is not even one of your thoughts. It is a response to a stimulus. It is a learned behaviour. A behaviour that isn’t yours it is someone else’s and you copied it. It is well and truly an “obstacle”

This is a small example but one that can be identified quickly. How many, other hidden behaviours do you have that are a carbon copy of someone else. All these “obstacles” ensure that you are ‘kept in your place’.

Have you ever thought to yourself;” I would like to do that” and quickly another thought enters your mind, “but I don’t think so”. The thought that comes says, “It is embarrassing” or “my (mother) wouldn’t like it”…or whatever your excuse is. It is this that Hilary Swank is talking about. Your mind is holding you back.

How do you progress?

Kathy Sierra, the well known author of bestseller Head First books, says you just need to overcome your brains “Crap Filter”. That area of your brain that stops you moving forward.

How do you do it.?

Simple.
Do exactly as Hilary Swank says Stop Thinking.
Exploit what your mind thinks is important…….. Your Feelings.

Instead of following a path that is run by your head and what you think you ought to do. Go with your feelings. Do what you feel is right. Don’t let your mind hold you back. Awaken your feelings. The stronger your feelings towards a particular action the more you overcome the filter on your brain and now you have overcome your obstacle.

How do you know you have the right feeling? How do you know you are on the right path?

Simple.

When you are on the correct path and doing what is right for you. You feel great.
Everything appears to be in synch. You may be doing something for hours and it feels like minutes. Your face is all aglow. You are really enjoying yourself. In a nutshell you stop evaluating what you are doing and have started to do things you never thought were possible. You are performing naturally, everything is “right”.

Don’t just accept what we say. Try it. Imagine for a moment that you are Hilary Swank. You have been given this great opportunity. You have the knowledge, you have done the research. Everything that can be prepared has been prepared. Now let go of your learned thinking and let your natural talent emerge. Go on you’ve got nothing to lose.

You now know how to overcome your obstacle.

Good Luck.

A good few people have a passion for candles. Candles are utilized every single day by quite a few people for numerous various purposes. A good few of us think of candles when the electric supply goes out, we put them on birthday cakes and we will often utilize them to add a fresh scent to our home. Candles can set the mood for a awesome event or a relaxing bubble bath. There are so many nifty things to do with candles. But, if you have ever purchased candles before, you know that they may be very expensive indeed. And you normally get what you pay for which means that the cheap products are not worth the trouble of buying them. Since the cheapest candles are not good and better candles can cost too much money, you might be wondering if a person may have any different alternatives. Well, guess what? You do! You can always produce your own candles.

Producing your own ones is not quite as hard as you may believe and we’re going to tell you exactly how to do it. Simply read on and get a few materials and you will be making your own personal hand made wax candles in no time.

Before you get under way, you are going to need to go to a art supplies shop to buy some materials for your project. The good news is that the supplies are simple and wont cost much. All you want is some special paraffin wax and a selection of candle wicks Then you will also need coloring and scents of your choice. You also want a special double boiler, a wooden spoon and a stove. A thermometer will also help you confirm the water is the right temperature to produce candles.

Stages of candle making
1. Now that you have found ingredients, you are definitely prepared to start out. Get some wax and smash it up into small parts.
2. Now warm the water in the double boiler and add the crushed wax. Now utilise your thermometer and be confident the wax gets up to 160 degrees.
3. Stir the candle makers wax and add your color choice a little at a time until you achieve the target colour.
4. Now you can add the scent if you are going to utilize one. Be sure the wax stays the correct temperature while you are mixing and adding.
5. Now cut your candle making wicks to the length you want. Commence dipping the candle wick into the hot wax.
6. Pull the wick out and allow it to cool. Carry on dipping and cooling until your candle is the length you want.
7. Carry on this process until you dip for the very last time and let the candle cool down as required.
8. When your candle has totally cooled, you can cut away any unwanted wick and your candle is now ready to use.
